Mural, Day Thirty-eight

As I paint in silence (relatively speaking) and solitude each day, ideas come to me for this blog. Sometimes 2-3 hours go by with no visitors; they usually appear in groups, right around the time I break for lunch (all 3 minutes of it) or while I am trying to put it all away around 3 or 3:30 p.m. By the time I get home in the evening, I seem only capable of showing you a photo or two and grunting out a couple of syllables! Uhhh, photo, look.img_0926.jpgHere is the whole wall this a.m. so that you can see how close to the end I am.img_0927.jpgAnd here is a day of painting.  (Uhhh, photo, look.)

  1. I just cannot get over how close your sky color is to the real sky! Amazing!!!

  2. Speaking of which, some time next week can you get one good, clear photo of the entire mural . . . or maybe a good portion of it . . . for our MKDA newsletter? My goal is to publish by the end of next week (April 17-ish), so I can grab one from here on Thursday morning, April 16. Or even Friday morning. Thanks, Jana!

  3. You are moving along since my last visit of your mural site. Hang in there, Jana. Maybe lastnight and today’s rain are to give you a break? 🙂 Love, Shirley
