. . . for this quick post of instruction and explanation.

As I am learning how to make my reconstructed website function again, I am also learning how to look at the subscriber list. There are three types of subscribers:
- Those who are active, current, and actually receiving emails whenever I post.
- Those who have subscribed to the blog but never confirmed their subscriptions.
- Those whose subscriptions have been paused.
If you are in category #1, you are probably reading this right now, no trouble, no worries, no fuss, no muss.
If you are in category #2, maybe you aren’t reading this post because you didn’t receive a notification! It might work for you to resubscribe, and this time, when you get a welcome email, confirm your subscription by clicking the link in the email (unless you have changed your mind about subscribing).
If you are in category #3, the instructions are thus:
“This subscriber turned off all WordPress.com emails. Ask them to turn emails back on in their WordPress.com settings.”
I don’t know what this means. Good luck. Maybe if you try resubscribing, you will get further instructions. I hope something works.
Hopefully we can stop thinking about this stuff soon and can all get back to just writing, reading, commenting, and enjoying this blog.
Thank you, and hope to “see” you on Monday!

I’m in Category #1, with many !!!’s. ….because your blog keeps me in touch with my beloved Mineral King, too far away for me to visit as frequently as I would like.
PLEASE, keep it going!
Thank you, Bev! I appreciate your sticking with me through all the chaos.
