  1. Congratulations! You haven’t changed a bit!

    Jim

    • Aw shucks, Jim, that is kind of you to say. (May I recommend a good optometrist?)

  2. Great picture. I remember that day fondly. Happy Anniversary. Love you both. I won’t cry.

    • Thank you, Anonymous SIL! Love you too!

  3. The Happiest of Anniversaries to you both!! Hope it’s a blessed day! ???

    • Thank you, Barbara! Vertical, ventilating, mobile. . . together.

  4. Great photo! Wishing you many more happy, healthy, productive years together. 🙂

    • Anonymous, you liked our grumpy looking photo! We were duplicating those old fashioned portraits where the man sat, the woman stood, and no one smiled, probably because their teeth were scary.

  5. Love this! ??

    • Anonymous, thank you! It was a good day to be sure.

  6. WOW! Congratulations Jana and Michael??

    • Thank you, Rachelle! We are just trying to keep up with you and Steven in the number of years together.

  7. I LOVE this picture!  Looks like it was a wedding in Mineral King.

    Happy Anniversary!

    We’ll celebrate 47 in December.  (You’re a youngster!)

    • Anne, it was a wedding in Mineral King, but not at the cabin. We walked back to stage that photo.

  8. And just as youthful, giving, and forgiving as when you spoke your vows. A day I’ll always remember. 🙂

    • Aw shucks, Louise. Thank you!

  9. Congratulations to you two!!!!???

    • Thank you, David! We are a bit freakish in our generation.

  10. Wowza

  11. Happy Anniversary.  Love this picture

    • Thank you, Loretha! It’s my favorite wedding photo too.

  12. Congratulations! Glad to have been around for all of them. Love you two.

    • Thank you, Anonymous! Trying to guess who this is, and I think it might be my mama. If so, we love you too! (If not, we might love you, but we might not.)

  13. You both look SOOOOO serious in this photo! Were you having second thoughts? You shouldn’t have–it’s been a wonderful partnership!

(Was that the last time Trail Guy wore a suit?)

    Congratulations, you two lovebirds!

    • Sharon, it wasn’t a suit. It was a “sport coat” with pants that sort of went. I told him he could wear jeans, but he opted to dress up. We were serious because that’s the way those old fashioned photos were taken, and we were being silly, duplicating those poses. It was a happy day and there are other photos to prove that.

  14. Haven’t changed a bit….

    • Except for some poundage, graying, and wrinkles.

  15. Congratulations!

    • Thanks, Nancy! Thirty-seven is a large number.

  16. Yay and wow! Look at you two! This made my day! Happiest of anniversaries!

    • Dan, nice to hear from you! So happy to have made your day, and must be fun because you know EXACTLY where the photo was taken. (We would have invited you if we knew you back then. . .)
