“Unveiling” is obviously a euphemism here. Murals are highly visible, and no one threw a tarp over the one on the side of the Ivanhoe library. (However, someone did throw an egg on it and tomorrow I will go touch it up. Sigh.)

An egg. That’s so disappointing. I hope the unveiling goes well! People should be so proud to have that mural in their town!
Michelle, Ivanhoe is kind of like a third world country with different values. So, the library isn’t high on the list of priorities.
Congratulations! Will someone (Trail Guy?) be taking photos of the big event so you can share?
Egg. *sigh* indeed, but it could have been worse. Punks!
I’ll use my inferior phone camera at some point. My expectations for turnout are low. The library is treating it like a big deal, but based on visitation (both for the library and to see the mural progress) while painting, I’m guessing about 20 people max.
An egg??? Some people have no taste.
I was pretty surprised, and disappointed too. But I told the librarian to let me know any time there was trouble and I’d come repair it. Of course I’m hoping this is the only instance.
