Finished and Scanned

The new scanner is a real bugger to figure out. Lots of trial and error, and no instruction manual. It’s pretty tricky to use the laptop for scanning while searching out instructions at the same time, particularly when the internet is down, so I just keep pushing buttons, trying various things, and when something actually works, I hope like crazy that I’ll remember how I got there.

Two Poms, oil on canvas board, unframed, $100 plus tax, welcome to California
New & Improved! Alta Peak and Moro Rock I, oil on wrapped canvas, 6×12″, $125 (at Kaweah Arts)
Alta, oil on wrapped canvas, 6×6″, $75 (at Kaweah Arts)
NEW AND IMPROVED! Airport Bridge, 8×10″, oil on canvas board, FRAMED, $175, at Kaweah Arts

At this little scale, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the before and after version. OF COURSE IT LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON!!

  1. Beautiful work, Jana! I’m exactly the same with a scanner. If I actually figure out how to scan something, I can’t remember how I did it. And I swear, the steps change every time!

    • No kidding, Michelle! What sort of sadist engineer puts these machines together??
