Cabin Life in Summer, Part One

Our cabin is buttoned up for the season. It is a summer cabin, as are all the cabins in my world.

Here is a selection of random photos taken at other people’s cabins, not all this year.

Perhaps it will bring on some nostalgia, or maybe it will make you grateful for your modern, spacious, comfortable, convenient life.

More for you tomorrow.

  1. The cabins look rustic and incredibly charming! It’s probably a wonderful place to get away from all the noise of modern life.

    • Michelle, “rustic” is exactly the correct adjective. We are people from many walks of life, and living in shacks without electricity is a great leveler of the illusion of “class”.
