A Funny Walk at Hume

There is a funny walk at Hume, which most of the residents call a “hike”, but this ain’t Mineral King, folks. (What a snob I am!)

The walk is best enjoyed in photos. Let’s go!

I believe this qualifies as a Peculiar Sight.

  1. Jana….Love these here blogs! You crack me up! Love the wee lil church…..You could call it the Wee Prayer Church…since people leave little notes inside. Maybe they are notes to God 🙂 Jodi G

  2. The signs did not lie. It’s little. It’s brown. And it’s a church. For wee forest folk!

    • Sharon, it is such a hoot! So literal.

      • So how tall is the imposing edifice, ground to roof line?

        • Bottom of building to peak of roof might be 24″, might be 18″.

          • Oh, my, that is very wee! So I assume you didn’t walk inside to take a look?

          • There is a little door to open, and inside people leave notes. I think rodents get inside too, but their notes aren’t as nice.

          • But they DO leave their “calling card” I’ll bet. The rodents, not the humans, that is.
