Merry Christmas, Gentle Blog Readers

Enjoy this special time of year. . . I’m going quiet for a few days so I can do likewise. Blessings to you, friends, family, followers whom I have not yet met.

P.S. This post was scheduled to appear on Christmas Eve. I stayed away from the computer and didn’t notice that it hadn’t posted! Today I wondered where it was, and reposted it. THAT’s why it is just now appearing. Bye-bye, weirdo blog machine. I’m going to draw for a few days and ignore you and all your techie weirdness.

  1. Jana,

Re your comment on my post “Quick. Right Before the New Year,” the jogging should start up again, but I can’t bring myself to run in frigid MN winter temps. They are actually closing schools this Monday due to temps. Phew.

Writing, organizing speaking files, and sipping more coffee… yes, there was some frenzied dancing and bouncing at times too. 🙂

Congratulations on getting your deadline for the book. You did it!

What’s the garage mural look like so far?

    • Jennifer, I can’t imagine running or even walking in the temps you are experiencing right now! I’d probably be looking for some indoor stairs to climb (or maybe start climbing the walls!)

So far the garage mural is just in my head, and it keeps changing. The paint color on the exterior walls is gorgeous and is making the existing murals glow. It is the color of dark chocolate dipped in black coffee – now you might need to go try this in order to see the color.

  2. Happy New Year Jana!

The girls LOVED the purses you made! Thank you so much, they are perfect gifts and made by such a dear friend. Enjoy the new year! What are you wishing for?

    Hugs
    Melissa

    • Most totally excellent, Melissa! You know your girls well – very impressive mothering ability to successfully choose a purse.

Not wishing for anything but working my tail off to paint the outbuildings and publish the Wilsonia book.

      How about you?

  3. Hope your Christmas was a wonderful one, Jana. All the best in 2014. So thankful to have connected with you in blog land! 🙂

  4. Happy new year, Jana! The cards arrived and are lovely. I always sort of hate to mail works of art away to people. How silly is that? I’ll save one from each set for me.

Ignore the techie world for a few days longer…

    • And Happy New Year to you Jennifer! So glad you got the cards, and I am sort of ignoring the techie world except that I keep checking my comments. . . maybe I won’t peek tomorrow.
