Walking in the mornings in Oregon was just ideal. So many interesting houses, so much to see, so many great looking yards and growies! It felt like March or April at home.

Yea, kitties!

A favorite yard.

Another favorite house.

The lavender! With yellow roses!

This color combination always grabs my attention.

Yeah, yeah, I will tell you the reason (besides visiting family) for this trip. Stay tuned.

Wow!!! So many gorgeous photos! I’ve visited various places in Oregon and enjoyed them all. I remember how amazing the roses were.
Michelle, I think it is interesting that someone from MONTANA thinks Oregon is beautiful! Your state is in the top five for me (not that I have been to very many states. . .)
I love all the flower photos — what a gorgeous array. And cats! What a delight in any situation. The hazelnut shells as mulch is something I’ve never encountered before.
Suzanne, thanks for checking in! Cats, flowers, cool weather. . . it was the perfect place to walk. I have seen walnut shells spread on a road in my area of the world once or twice, and it seemed like the sharp edges would be murder on tires. Those hazelnut shells were a surprise, and unlike other mulch, they were scattered a bit on the sidewalks whenever I encountered them. Slippery? Round?
Enjoy Oregon just please don’t leave us permanently!!
Aw shucks, Cherri, I am home now. Tryna get used to driving my “new” automatic car, doing a few paintings from my Oregon photos, and missing my family along with the mellow weather.
Wait . . . palm trees in Oregon? Isn’t it a bit chilly for palm trees??
I agree, yay cats!
Sharon, that landscaping was just flat WRONG.
Hi Vancouver WA is just a short drive – not a walk – from where you were!
Ben
Ben, I know. We had every moment filled up, and I felt (and still do feel) guilty for not buzzing up to Vancouver. I’m sorry.
