First, in case you were wondering, there are actually 5 rivers here, all part of the Kaweah drainage. Marble Fork, East Fork, Middle Fork, North Fork, South Fork, all part of the Kaweah river. “Kuh-WEE-uh”, in case you were wondering further.
Second, we don’t have a river view; we opted for mountain views, since they are less expensive.
Third, why am I not working and showing you progress? Because it is really pretty out right now, and I thought you might enjoy it.

I’ll stop bragging about our sunshine now. Here’s Jackson, the least friendly and most fat of our three felines.

Tomorrow I’ll return to work.

Such gorgeous photos, Jana! I love that Three Rivers actually has five – quirky stuff like that always makes me happy!
Michelle, it took me many years to understand the name of the town. Since we are an unincorporated town, there isn’t any sort of chamber of commerce keeping up a website or doing any marketing, so info like this is just spread by chit-chat.
Always enjoy the photos of our ever-constant, ever-changing, ever-fascinating home ground. And the cats are always a treat. You are definitely on the side of their best interests by keeping them indoors at night. Wave with a clear conscience. Thanks for sharing, as always.
Greg and Laurie, thanks for the kind words of affirmation on incarcerating my cats.
Where is the “Town Center” sign?
Nikki, it is the weirdest thing! BLM has placed signs like this, naming various areas of their property above St. Anthony’s. “Town Center”!?! Who came up with that??
That picture of the kitties looking out the window is the sweetest, Jana!!!
Elisabeth, sometimes I feel guilty walking past while they are incarcerated for the night. Then I remember that they were born in that building, that they are safe when the coyotes start their ruckus in the night. So I wave and say “hi” as I walk past back to the house for the evening.
